MAS Academies New Year's Pie-Cutting Celebrations

On Sunday, February 15th 2015, at the Theater of Mandoulides Schools’ Cultural and Sports Center, the traditional New Year’s pie-cutting celebrations for the Mandoulides Girls’ Volleyball Academy, Soccer Academy and Basketball Academy were held. During all three celebrations, distinguished athletes were honored, awards were presented, and gifts were given to several lucky young athletes.

Specifically, the international volleyball player of Cuba and athlete of numerous Greek associations, Freddy Brooks was honored; international soccer player, Aggelos Charisteas, member of the National Team that won the Pan-European Championship in Lisbon in 2004, and member of important associations in Greece and abroad. Finally, the international basketball player and member of leading associations in Greece, Giorgos Mpalogiannis was honored.

What is more, the MAS Mandoulides Association children’s team was honored for winning the National Championship, along with Vasilis Christidis, who won the title of most valuable player, top scorer and member of the best 5-member team in the National Championship.
