Students of the 4th grade visited the New Waterfrontof Thessaloniki to experientially understand some basic distances. The students, while enjoying the way from the Music Hall to the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki learned through a series of training activities to measure, compare and assess distances. Meanwhile, they got to know the usefulness of maps as a means to verify the accuracy of their measurements in specific fields.
