Young Scientists - From the Sun ... to the Asphalt

"Why can’t solar cars go fast?", "Are solar panels like batteries?", "Why are they dark colored?" With these and many more questions, dozens of students participated in the Young Scientists program held on Saturday, April 2nd. All the questions were answered not by teachers but by the children themselves, who had the opportunity, through a unique physics lesson, to "play" with concepts of energy. The weather may not have been their ally, but that did not stop the students from building their own solar cars and from getting to see how they work. In the end, all of us renewed our appointment for the Art & Science Days program, which will be held on Saturday, May 21st.
