On Saturday, January 21st, 2017, from 10:00 to 13:00, parents and students from various schools of Thessaloniki had the opportunity to get acquainted with the pioneering architecture program “Arkki, The School of Architecture for Children and Youth”, an educational innovation from Finland.
Mandoulides Schools are including Arkki, exclusively for Thessaloniki, in their special educational programs, giving 4- to 13-year-olds from all around he city the chance to become little ‘architects’.
As part of the program, our little ‘architects’ will experiment, design and see the world through different angles. In addition, they will reinforce their three-dimensional perception, their systematic thinking, their fine motor skills and their communication skills.
Through the program children will become the ‘architects’ of their own future and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and for the environment.
The first phase starts on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 and places are limited.
