The award ceremony of the five winners from each class, held on Saturday, May 20, ended this year's Hackathlon competition. The opening of the event was made by the Principal of Mandoulides Elementary School, Mr. G. Chatzopoulos, who, after congratulating the winners and the members of the Organizing Committee, urged the young students to work on computer programming and cultivate the skills that will broaden their horizons in the future. At the award ceremony, the prizes for the winners of each class were presented by the sponsors of the competition.
For this year, the prizes were Acer Microsoft Windows Tablets, Cubot V2 smartbands, virtual reality glasses and Disney speakers. The sponsors of the competition were Microsoft Hellas (main sponsor), Classter, Technokids and Ellinoekdotiki. In the end, we all renewed our appointment for the next school year, as we expect the next competition to meet with even greater participation and involve more innovative elements.
