As part of Current Affairs a lecture was held by professor of the Department of Philology of AUTH and academic Theodoros Papangelis on "What is the Importance of Humanities Today?". The lecture, which took place on Friday, November 3, 2017, at Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center, was attended by students of the 10th and 11th Grade as well as of the 12th Grade of the theoretical direction.
Mr. Papangelis was asked questions by a group of students on the topic. The answers given were particularly pleasing to the audience while they also gave students the opportunity to reflect on the historical consciousness of young people today.
