The students of 4th, 5th and 6th Grade observed the custom of the "crepe" of "La Chandeleur" feast, which is celebrated in France on February 2nd every year and corresponds to the Orthodox feast of Candlemas.
The children tasted delicious crepes after learning about the history of the custom according to which the French, after leaving church and returning home with “des chandelles” (lit candles), purify themselves from evil and children eat crepes that symbolize the sun and abundance.
