In a very moving atmosphere, 2nd Grade students got to know the adventures of Abdul, a young refugee from Syria who recently settled with his family in Greece. The musical notes of well-known melodies flooded the presentation of Ria Felekidou's book "The Game of the Teeth", which was held in Konstantinidis bookstore on Saturday, April 28.
The difficulties refugees face in settling in a new country, their struggle for survival, their bitterness, their daily frustrations and their efforts to remove any obstacles they encounter were the main themes of the book, which seemed to stimulate the interest of the children and gain their attention.
During the event, the students had the opportunity to talk with the writer, ask her questions and reflect on timeless values of life.
