Mandoulides Schools’ project "Learning History", coordinated by teacher Mr. D. Chatzakis, will be presented at the Media & Learning, Video and Higher Education Conference on 14-15 June, 2018 in Leuven, Belgium, and will claim the first prize in a special event at this year's MEDEA AWARDS.
The project is the only entry from a Greek school, while the other 5 finalists are European universities. Last year's Greek entry in the final was by the center of educational actions and intercultural communication "Karpo".
This year's 6 finalists, as reported by the organizers, in the User Generated & Professionally Produced Video categories are:

- Mission Offi'Sim by Université de Lorraine (France)
- On Being a Scientist by Leiden University (Netherlands)
- Rethinking 'Us' & 'Them': Integration and Diversity in Europe by Migration Matters e.V. (Germany)
- Risky Business by Ulster University (United Kingdom)
- Suffrage Tales by the National Archives (United Kingdom)
