Students’ distinction in Phase A of the EUSO Competition

European Union Science Olympiad (EUSO)

Students of 11th Grade O. - K. Vlachonasios, Ν. Konstantinidou and V. Frangopoulos won 2nd place in Phase A of the Panhellenic Student Competition for their participation in the 17th European Union Science Olympiad - EUSO 2019, among the schools of Toumpa Science Lab Center. In addition to the second place in the overall ranking, our students won 1st place in Biology, 2nd in Physics and 3rd in Chemistry.

The EUSO Competition is based on laboratory tests in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Phase A took place on Saturday, 8 December at Downtown Science Lab Center. The results were announced on Wednesday, 19 December during a special ceremony in the Central Library of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

The next phase for all schools in Northern Greece will take place in Serres, on 26 January, 2019. We wish our team the best of luck!
