It was with a lot of interest that the students of 10th and 11th Grade of the Schools attended the event on Entrepreneurship Programs, which took place on 31 January, 2019. The presentation was made by lawyer Victoria Pervizou, along with the students who took part in the programs last year.
Entrepreneurship Programs are vocational guidance educational programs based on the principles of experiential learning and they have been conducted for the past three years in collaboration with innovative businesses in the region. During the programs, students are expected to take part in educational activities within the businesses and familiarize themselves with their main operations. The companies that have taken part so far declare that they are very happy and willing to support the school’s effort in the future. At the same time, students have the opportunity to explore in depth the choices associated with their future academic and professional steps through observation and interaction on the actual premises of the companies. In this way, they find answers to any questions related to the subject of study they are interested in.
At this year’s event, the companies’ description by the students who took part last year and their experience from Entrepreneurship Programs was of great interest. Most of them admitted that after participating, they are more aware of whether or not they like certain scientific fields and better informed about the work routine that each job entails.
