3rd Grade visits the Children's Museum

Students of the 3rd grade of mandoulides schools learning about the metro of thessaloniki

Why do we need a metro in our city? How is a station and a tunnel constructed? Who controls the operation of the metro? What secrets lie beneath the ground? What has the tunnel boring machine revealed? The students of 3rd Grade visited the workshops of the museum-educational program at the Children's Museum of Thessaloniki, where they became little engineers and designed, dug in and even operated the Thessaloniki Metro!

They also made the most of a wealth of materials and audiovisual media in the museum and learned what exactly a metro is, how it is built and how it works, so they familiarized themselves with a mode of public transport that will soon be available to the citizens of Thessaloniki
