On Saturday, 6 April, 2019, our Junior High School was once again awarded for its environmental activities with the Green Flag of Ecological Schools. The Ecological Schools Network is an International Thematic Environmental Network, supervised in Greece by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (EEPF), the oldest Greek environmental organization, which has been honored for its work by the Academy of Athens and the Council of Europe.
The presentation ceremony of Green Flags to the award-winning schools took place in the Benaki Museum of Athens while the actions of the past few years were shown on a poster. It is worth mentioning that our Junior High School has been awarded with the Green Flag since 2007.
