The students of 4th Grade had the pleasure of reading the book “The Sweetest Dance” as part of the Book Partners program and met with the author, Syrmo Michail. They followed little Bee and learned of all the work a worker bee needs to do in a hive, which peaks at the learning of the dance that ensures the communication among bees.
Through the dramatization of the book by the students, important issues were raised such as the encouragement a person needs from their social and family environment and the belief in one’s own abilities.
