As part of the 16th Thessaloniki International Book Fair, the students of 1st Grade met with writer Tasoula Tsilimeni and presented her book “Lila is Flying” (Diaplous Publications) in verse. Lila’s story gave the children the opportunity to sing for their dreams.
Shortly before the end of the event, the author took the floor and talked with the students about faith and perseverance in pursuing our dreams. Lila taught children not to stop dreaming and to create ways where they do not exist. Everyone has the right to dream and this inspired the thank-you card offered by the students to the author, thus closing the book presentation in a beautiful way.
