The students of the Beatles had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the educational program “Honey, the Gift of Nature” at the Scientific Multipurpose Facility “Mikroi Iroes”. Due to our topics “Spring” and “Insects”, we decided to extend on the topics and teach the children the importance of honey.
Honey is nature’s sweetest gift to mankind. It is considered to be a superfood due to its nutritional value, and not only does it taste wonderful but it also has a multitude of health benefits to people across ages, especially children. The children also learned about the whole procedure of making it and were really impressed by what they experienced in this visit.
