On the occasion of the celebration of the patron saint of our city, the students of the Beatles visited the church of St Demetrius. After admiring the Castles and going by Portara and Ano Poli, they arrived at the church.
There they observed the elaborate capitals, the mosaics and the marble iconostasis. At the basement of the church they saw the place of the martyrdom of the Saint, and finally, just before returning to school, they had the opportunity to see Kamara, Rotunda and the White Tower.
