“Learning Global Connection”
Students of Mandoulides Schools were given the opportunity to participate in the Learning Global Connection celebration, which was organized by the Microsoft community.
Microsoft Learning Global Connection lasted 48 hours. Classes from around the world joined via Skype, children travelled virtually around the globe and came closer to each other. Through Mystery Skype, young and older students alike, with the help of their geographical knowledge, discovered the location of the classroom to which they were connected and talked with their classmates in both Greek and English.
The Earth was smaller now, there were no borders between the countries and our students had the opportunity to work with peers from Cyprus, France, Germany, Spain, Poland and Finland. They exchanged views, had fun and bonded, thus envisioning a world where people will be living together in peace. They covered a total distance of 7,825 miles.
