Distinctions in the AMC 8 Competition
Students of the Schools who participated in the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) AMC 8 Competition, held on Tuesday, 12 November, 2019, won exceptional distinctions for the 9th consecutive year.
More specifically, students of 7th Grade P. – P. Nikou, E. Konstantinidou and T. Konstantinidis ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. It is worth noting that P. – P. Nikou ranked amongst the top 5% of all participants worldwide.
34 Mandoulides students of 7th and 8th Grade took part in total and they were asked to answer 25 multiple choice questions in 40 minutes.
