9th Yale Governance Model Europe (YGME), Lisbon (26/11 - 01/12/2019)
Sixteen Mandoulides Schools students traveled to Lisbon, the capital of the country of discoveries and Vasco da Gama, as part of the 9th European Governance Model Europe of Yale University.
The students toured the major attractions of the city (Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Commerce Square, Monument to the Discoveries). Also, they visited the outskirts of the city and more specifically Sintra, Cascais, Estoril and Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe overlooking the Atlantic.
Finally, student of 9th Grade O. Kerameos received an Honorable Mention in the 9th YMGE for her excellent presence as Minister of Education, Youth, Culture and Sports of Italy.
