Distinction in Drawing Competition 2019
Student of 7th Grade Ilektra Kypirtidou excelled in the Drawing Competition 2019 entitled “Nations and Monuments”, which was organized in collaboration with the Greek Children’s Gallery.
The presentation of awards took place at NJV Athens Plaza Hotel on Sunday, 12 January, 2020 with the participation of many students from all around Greece.
This was the 5th competition organized by the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation in collaboration with the Greek Children’s Gallery and aims to sensitize the young generations to the maintenance and protection of World Heritage Monuments. Over 800 students took part and 60 works of art excelled.
All the awarded works decorated the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation Christmas card and all the winners received a copy of one of Shanna Ingram Papademos’ works personally dedicated to each child.
