Senior High School Inductions Days
On Wednesday, September 23, a virtual induction day was held for parents - guardians and students of Senior High school regarding the school curriculum of 2020 - 2021 and the introduction to tertiary education.
Due to the special conditions created in our country by the Covid-19 pandemic, parents and guardians joined the online meeting through zoom.
The General Director of Mandoulides Schools, A. Hasioti, began the meeting by referring in detail as to how the school functioned during the pandemic and the preventive measures taken by the Schools for Covid-19. In addition, she mentioned students’ distinctions and the methods used to achieve student goals.
The Vice Principal and Maths teacher, G.Hasiotis, presented the curriculum for 12th grade students and analysed the admission system to tertiary education, the panhellenic exams and orientation groups as well as the scientific fields and how students’ grades are calculated for entry into university.
Principal F.Bathrellou presented the ‘Studies Abroad’ program which prepares students for tertiary education abroad.
Then, Vice Principal and Physics teacher I.Daountakis, presented the enriched program of the High School and expanded on the innovative actions taken towards a more experiential vocational guidance.
Finally, Philologist, Th. Zervoudakis spoke about the particular importance of the subject of the Greek Language, and its co- examination with the subject of Greek Literature.
