10th and 11th Grade students of Mandoulides Schools participated in the Workshop which was organised by «ELSA Thessaloniki - European Law Students’ Association», with the support of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Law.

The workshop was held online through Zoom on November 18 and 19 on the occasion of Human Rights Day aimed at promoting and protecting human rights in relation to artificial intelligence (AI).

Our students also took part in the 1st Consultation on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights which was held online through Zoom on Wednesday 25 November 2020. They supported the thesis that the technological advancement of the 21st century and its definitive effects have made it crystal clear that the gradual development of Artificial Intelligence is an issue of utmost importance, which we should all be aware of. The Consultation has constituted a springboard of maintaining an interest in ensuring high cultural standards in our society.

The workshop was led by students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki of the Faculty of Law and it was coordinated by Mandoulides’ graduate, Th. Fesatidou (’19), student of the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
