"Happy Independence Day" from the Second Grade students of the Primary School

- "Happy Independence Day" from the Second Grade students of the Primary School

"Happy Independence Day" from the Second Grade students of the Primary School

Every year at the beginning of spring, the Second Grade students of the Primary School used to get prepared for the celebration of March 25, a celebration that evoked nostalgic and sweet memories for all those who attended it at the Theater of the Schools.

Intense theatrical dialogues, patriotic poems and lively songs aroused the young and the old, as they brought to life known and unknown aspects of our religious tradition and our national history, passing on optimistic messages to all.

This year, at a time when the pandemic and fear are the protagonists, the Second Grade students of the Primary School are sending the same hopeful message again, but in a different way. With endless and enviable passion and with the help of their parents, Mr. Polymeneris, Mr. Michaelides (΄19) and their teachers, they made a

video with a symbolic song dedicated to the Revolution of 1821 and the flag of our homeland.

On the occasion of the completion of 200 years since the Greek Revolution, the words, passion and smiles of young children acquire another dynamic and value, as they pass on to everyone the message and the belief that we will soon win the battle again.

The Second Grade students of the Primary School, through the boldness and vividness of their song, send the message that the day will soon come, when we will drive away the invisible enemy that has significantly changed our lives. The day when we will be free and enjoy life!

“Happy Independence Day” to everyone!
