Shooting Videos for the European Statistics Competition
The senior High School team, consisting of G. Iakovidis, A. Tsiorvas and R. Tsiorvas, won the 2nd place among the teams of the senior High Schools that took part in the 4th Panhellenic Statistics Competition, organized by the Hellenic Statistical Authority.
This ranking resulted from the evaluation of the work of the students in the first and second stage. The teams that won the first five places in the 4th Panhellenic Statistics Competition will claim their participation in the European Statistics Competition, where teams from other member states of the European Union will compete.
For this reason, on Tuesday, March 30, the group of Mandoulides Schools students made the video with which they will support their participation in the European Statistics Competition. According to the theme of the competition, the students are invited to a youth organization, where they will present a video about the challenges of misinformation in society and the role that official statistics can play.
The video was shot on the premises of Mandoulides High School and all the necessary health related measures due to COVID - 19 were followed.
