Let's go like we did before…
The students of Second and Third Grades of the Primary School had the opportunity to enjoy a unique trip to the past with their online visit to the Museum of Greek Education. Due to the modern epidemiological data, the students were guided through their digital classrooms to rooms of the Museum and came in contact with more or less known aspects of the Greek past.
More specifically, the students of Third Grade of the Primary School took part in the educational program "The plate, the pen and the ink". The children visited an old classroom online, discovered and got to know the old school, the teacher, the student. Through pictures, videos, experiential activities, games, textbooks and objects of a past school life, they learned the way of teaching like in the old days!
Τhe Second Grade students of the Primary School respectively, attended the thematic unit "Myths of Aesop" and exchanged their thoughts and reflections around these timeless stories. During the tour, the children listened to well-known myths of
the great storyteller, got to know their main protagonists, discussed the lessons of the stories and were concerned about their relevant messages.
Through experiential activities and games the students were able to perceive the wealth of Greek history and tradition and to appreciate the greatness of Greek culture.
