Completion of the English & Adventure Camp 2021
We promised our students fun and we achieved our goal! Having as main themes: “The climate is changing – therefore, we must change ourselves!” and “Superheroes Save the World” the 18th English & Adventure Camp Mandoulides has been completed!
During the period of two weeks, the students enjoyed themselves, as they participated in a variety of different and interesting activities. They tried hiking, canoeing, kayaking and SUP, they played scavenger’s hunt and challenged themselves at rappel. At the same time, they tested their abilities in swimming and windsurfing, threw seed bombs, constructed solar cookers and detected an individual’s personal carbon footprint.
The goal of all those actions was to sensitize students regarding the consequences of climate change on our planet. Furthermore, they solved mysteries, cooked, danced, made plenty of constructions and sang!
Within the framework of the camp, younger and older students enjoyed ARKKI and Robotix activities, which offered special moments of creative action to everyone.
We would like to thank MEVGAL for its sponsorship. The appointment is renewed for the next school year from 20/06/2022 to 01/07/2022 with the 19th English & Adventure Camp, whose main theme will be “It’s a small world - Let’s unite and become one!”
Undoubtedly, the camp has provided an unforgettable experience for everyone and the following photographs can attest to that.
