Student’s Distinction in the Cheerleading World Championship 2021
Our 12th grade student A. Didaskalou earned a significant distinction in the Cheerleading World Championship of 2021, in which she represented Greece by participating in the team “Senior Cheer Jazz” of the Hellenic Star Sports Club and managed to win the 5th place.
In addition to this, she competed as a member of the “All Girls Elite” Cheerleading team and earned 7th place. As regards the Cheer Hip Hop Dance Duet category, she achieved 11th place, only 1,20 points behind the duet from Canada that ranked 10th.
The Cheerleading World Championship of 2021 was conducted online, via an application specially designed by the International Federation of Cheerleading. The competition was broadcast by the Olympic Channel all around the world. The Greek athletes led the parade of nations.
