Participation of 2 students in the 63rd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2022)

Silver medal in the 39th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO 2022)

Panagiotis Liampas (11th grade student) won the silver medal in the 39th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO 2022) which was organized by the Cyprus Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Society of South-Eastern Europe and was held in Agros, Cyprus, from May 4th to 9th, 2022.

The participants were students from 16 different countries (Rumania, Greece, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Moldavia, FYROM, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Azerbaijan, United Kingdom, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus, Northern Cyprus, Albania, Montenegro).

It should be mentioned that the student achieved the 8th highest score among the participants.

P. Liampas and K. Konstantinidis (11th grade students) will be among the six members of the National Team that will represent our country in the 63rd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2022), which will take place in Oslo, Norway, from July 6th to 16th, 2022.
