Why do we argue? How can we resolve our disagreements in alternative ways without resorting to shouting, cursing, and violence on the one hand, or suffocating silence, angry smiles, and resignation on the other?

During this trip, our students were introduced to the “chair technique” for conflict resolution, through roleplaying. With this technique, in every disagreement between two children, one speaks (mouth) and the other listens (ear) alternately while learning what to look out for. Therefore, they can resolve their disputes effectively.

At the same time, through a theatrical game, they practiced assertive behavior and finding the most beneficial solution for everyone, avoiding both aggression and passivity.
