7 students got important distinctions in the AMC 8 International Mathematics Competition of the American Mathematical Society (AMS).
More specifically, the students who excelled are the following:
- 1st Prize with the 2nd best grade in Greece: A. Sklavou (8th Grade)
- 2nd prize with the 4th best grade in Greece: E. Giouvanopoulos (7th Grade), E. Gkolna (7th Grade), N. Lysitsas (7th Grade), V. Bekiaris (8th Grade), K. Spanos (7th Grade)
- 3rd Prize with the 5th best grade in Greece: S. Mavridou (8th Grade)
The competition took place on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 and Mandoulides Schools participated for the thirteenth consecutive year. 46 students of 7th and 8th Grade participated in the competition. The students answered 25 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes.
