Webinar - Parental School: Distance Learning A new reality for students, parents and educators

Mandoulides Schools are organizing an online webinar on the topic of “Distance Learning, a new reality for students, parents and educators” on Wednesday 24 February 2021 at 18:00-20:10.

Our aim is to:

  • Give parents the opportunity to share their concerns with specially trained professionals.
  • Provide parents with guidelines on how to handle their relationships with their children during this difficult period.
  • Give everyone who attends the opportunity to gain as much as possible from this new reality that we are experiencing.

Unfortunately, the pandemic has become a part of our daily lives. Both ourselves and our children have to adapt to this new situation. Distance learning is one of the things we have to adapt to, as well. There may be opposing views regarding its value, however it is an undeniable fact that it constitutes a useful tool for the students and the only feasible way to teach and communicate with our students during these troubled times, without excluding anyone from “our classroom’.

The seminars will take place online through the Microsoft Teams platform, according to the following schedule:

  • 18:00 - 18:40
Distance Learning, The new reality of education
Alexandros Koptsis, Regional Educational Director, Cantral Macedonia
  • 18:45 - 19:25
Synchronous and Asynchronous Distance Learning. Further broadening the scope of education.
Vasilis Oikonomou, Director of Informatics and Digital Education at Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College, MIE Expert, MIE Fellow, MIE Trainer
  • 19:30 - 20:10
