Scholarship Program
In order to guarantee that their students have equal access to the benefits of education, the Schools provide financial aid and scholarships (full or partial) based on academic performance, conduct, and distinctions in competitions on a regional, national and international level, as well as in sports.
Scholarships
01. Becoming acquainted with the scholarship exams
As part of the 7th Grade scholarship exams, the Schools invite prospective students and parents to informative meetings in order to:
- Be informed about the scholarship program.
- Get acquainted with tests of previous years with the guidance of teachers of the respective subjects.

02. 7th Grade Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to 6th Grade students from public and private schools who achieve the highest scores in the written scholarship exams in Modern Greek and Mathematics, based on the subject matter of the last grades of Elementary School.
The scholarship exams for 7th grade will be held on Saturday, May 13 2023 at 09:00 in the Junior-Senior High School premises (12th km Highway Thessaloniki- N. Moudania).
The total number of scholarships is fourteen (14), seven (7) for each of the following categories:
a) Mandoulides Schools students
b) Students of public and private schools
The scholarships granted for each category of students are:
- One (1) 100% scholarship
- Two (2) 50% scholarships
- Two (2) 30% scholarships
- Two (2) 20% scholarships
Criteria for maintaining a scholarship:
- Excellent academic performance, above 19, in main courses:
- In 7th, 8th, 9th Grade: Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
- In 10th Grade: Greek Language (Ancient Greek, Modern Greek Literature, Modern Greek), Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English
- 11th Grade: Modern Greek and Orientation courses
- Overall GPA over 19
- Outstanding conduct
- Distinctions in regional, international and national competitions
- Participation in activities and programs of the Schools.

03. 8th - 12th Grade Scholarships
At the end of every school year, students of Mandoulides Schools as well as students of other private or public schools are given the opportunity to apply for a scholarship for the in-between grades or increase the percentage of their scholarship in case they already hold one.
The scholarship exams for the 8th and 9th grade students as well as all Senior High School students regarding the school year 2022-2023 will be held on the Junior – Senior High School premises of Mandoulides Schools (12th km National Road Thessaloniki – N. Moudania) on Tuesday, 20 June 2023, at 09:00.
In order for the final selection of students to be made, the distinguished candidates will be interviewed during the following days.
Courses tested
1. Students of Mandoulides Schools as well as students of other private and public schools can take part in the exams.
2. Depending on the grade in which students will be during the school year 2022-2023, they will be tested on the following courses:
- 8th – 9th Grades Modern Greek and Mathematics
- 10th Grade Modern Greek and Mathematics
- 11th Grade Modern Greek and Ancient Greek Language and Literature (orientation of Humanitarian Studies) Modern Greek and Mathematics (orientation of Exact Sciences)
- 12th Grade Modern Greek and Ancient Greek Language and Literature (1st orientation field) Modern Greek and Mathematics (2nd and 4th orientation fields) Modern Greek and Biology (3rd orientation field).
3. After the publication of the results, parents/guardians of the distinguished students will have to submit the following documents to the Secretariat of Junior – Senior High School:
- Copy of transcript or graduation certificate of the school year 2021-2022.
- E1 – Income Tax Statement of the year 2021.
- Π – Administrative Tax Assessment Certificate regarding the total income of the past three years.
- ΕΝΦΙΑ – Declaration of Property Tax.
4. The selection criteria are the following:
- High grades, over 18 in the courses tested.
- Overall GPA over 19.
- Exemplary conduct.
- Distinctions in regional, national, and international competitions.
- Activities and interests.
- The financial status of the family. The income must not exceed €40,000.
- An interview with a three-member committee consisting of the respective teachers of the courses being tested (philologist, mathematician, and a member of the administration of Mandoulides Schools).

Scholarships of National Distinctions
Students who excel in national competitions and form part of the respective national teams in Balkan and International Olympiads are granted scholarships up to 100% of tuition.
Some of the competitions are:

- Biology
- Chemistry
- Debate etc.
Sports Scholarships
Sports basketball scholarships up to 80% of tuition are granted to students who combine impressive academic and athletic performance.
Scholarship criteria
- High work ethics

- Ability to compete at a high level
- Academic performance above 15.
Criteria for retaining a scholarship:
- Academic performance above 15
- Outstanding conduct
- Proper behavior on and off the court
- Consistency, interest and systematic effort in training
- Participation in the school championships of the Schools
- Participation in the teams of Cultural and Sports Association Evangelos Mandoulides
- Participation in activities of the Schools.
