The 4th Grade in ancient Vergina

As part of the History lesson, the 4th Grade students had the chance to go on an educational excursion to the “Museum of the Royal Tombs at Aigai” in Vergina, which is the first city of the Macedonians and the last residence of the kings and an important historical site.

There, the children attended the specially designed by Dot2Dot guides educational program entitled “Vergina: Last Residence of the Macedonian Kings”, which presents the history of the area and the burial mound. The museum recreates the ancient tomb as it was found, hiding within it the kings’ tombs.

This excursion was a unique opportunity for our students to explore ancient Aigai and discover the secrets of the past. The experience will remain unforgettable in their memory.
