3rd Grade: To explore the life and work of Henri Rousseau, 3rd grade students experimented with exotic and dreamy depictions of the jungle. Despite never visiting a real jungle, Rousseau\u2019s paintings are filled with vivid colors and fantastic landscapes inspired by books, botanical gardens and local museums. In our art class, we used multi-sensory educational material to inspire the students and help them create art.<\/p>\n
5th Grade: In the 5th grade art class, students created their own works of art inspired by Marc Chagall. They studied his techniques, use of color, and themes he used. Guided by Chagall\u2019s famous works like The Circus and The Violinist, the students used bright colors and their imagination to create their own artwork.<\/p>\n
4th Grade: Students were inspired by cats to create their own works of art. They designed different breeds of cats, their characteristics and their habits, while they tried to draw cats in various positions and environments. This course helped children develop their observation skills and creativity while also learning how other painters dealt with this issue- all while having fun!<\/p>\n
