Kaimakis (12th grade) won the bronze medal in the \u201c27th Austrian Young Physicists\u2019 Tournament\u201d (AYPT), known as the European Physics Cup, held at the University of Leoben in Austria from April 25 to April\u00a0 27. He participated as the captain of the Greek National Team .\u00a0With this achievement, the student earned\u00a0 Greece its first-ever medal in the prestigious European competition, where countries such as Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, and Iran also competed.<\/p>\n<p>A.Kaimakis will also be a member of the Greek National Team, competing in the \u201c38th\u00a0International\u00a0Young\u00a0Physicists\u2019 Tournament\u201d (IYPT), also known as the World Physics Cup, which will take place at Lund University in Sweden from June 29 to July 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A.
