The students of E. Mandoulides Schools E. Mavridis, O. Milonas, K.\u00a0 Chatzigeorgiou (10th grade) and Ch. Toumanidis (11th grade) participated as a team in the National Space Competition \u201cCANSAT 2025\u201d, held in Athens, on April 24 and April 25, 2025. During the event, they launched the satellite they had constructed and collected atmospheric and air quality measurements at an altitude of 1,000 meters.<\/p>\n
The \u201cERMIS I\u201d team of E. Mandoulides Schools won the \u201cASAT\u201d award and qualified for the European Aerospace Competition \u201cEUROC 2025\u201d, which will take place in October of 2025, in Portugal. There, they will launch the satellite they built, with minimal modifications, to an altitude of 9,000 meters using a 70-kilogram liquid fuel rocket!<\/p>\n
