Recently, the 1<\/span>st<\/span> and 2<\/span>nd<\/span> grade students read the children’s book <\/span>\u201cA Bear in the Bathtub\u201d <\/span><\/b>by author Tasoula Tsilimeni. The book transported us into a world filled with tenderness, memories, and important messages about the environment.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the personal adventure of a stuffed bear, the children learned in a simple and understandable way not only about the destruction of our planet caused by the careless use of natural resources, but also about ways to ensure a better future for us all. In fact, they were especially excited by the idea of <\/span>reusing<\/span><\/b>, which is at the heart of the original story. This book provided the perfect opportunity to discuss how we can give a second life to old toys, clothes, or other items. At the same time, it helped the children think in an eco-friendly way and reflect on the consequences of their actions on the environment. It also encouraged these future citizens to embrace the idea that love and care have no expiration date- old or forgotten objects can still be valuable and bring joy.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The book\u2019s message was very clear: <\/span>if we love nature, we must think before we throw something away. <\/span><\/b>Through the bear\u2019s adventure, we learned that every object deserves a second chance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The third-grade students had the opportunity to travel into the world of the book <\/span>\u201cA Tree Grows Everywhere\u201d<\/span><\/i> by Tasoula Tsilimeni.<\/span>
\n Through a tender story, they discovered how something small\u2014like a few seeds carried by the wind\u2014can bring about great changes.<\/span>
\n A story that reminded us that love, patience, and dreams can transform not only our neighborhood but also our hearts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
