A few days before the end of the school year, the 2nd grade students visited the <\/span>LITTLE HEROES and participated <\/span>in the educational program <\/span>\u201cWalking, Walking through the Forest\u201d, <\/span>which took place in the suburban forest of Thessaloniki.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a lush green environment, just a few meters from the Filippio, the children transformed into little explorers! With the help of the program coordinators, they walked along forest trails, listened to the sounds of nature, and carefully observed the plants and animals living there. They learned to identify different types of trees, recognize animal tracks, and respect the natural environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As potential future campers, the children were informed about the importance of preventing forest fires, especially crucial during the summer months. They heard about ways to protect the forest and how to behave responsibly when in nature. Through games, discussions, and experiential activities, their ecological awareness was cultivated and their love for the environment strengthened.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
