Our speakers, Ruby Bhattacharya (Barnard, NY), Joel Hart (Pomona, CA), and Dean Mendes (Williams, MA), offered thoughtful insight into the character and spirit of their institutions.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The session highlighted the values that define the liberal arts: close faculty connections, intellectual range and the freedom to explore across disciplines.
