As part of our \u201cCommunity Helpers\u201d unit, the blossoms of the English Garden\u00a0explored the important role of firefighters through stories, games, and hands-on play. The children loved acting out firefighter adventures, working together to \u201csave\u201d letters from a pretend fire and learning how firefighters help keep our community safe. To celebrate the end of our unit, we visited the Third Fire Station of Thessaloniki, where we learned many exciting facts, climbed aboard a real fire truck, and even used the fire hose.
