Within the framework of the Day Care innovative program entitled \u201cI Take Care of Myself, Eat Properly, Live Healthily\u201d our young students had the opportunity to participate in creative and experiential activities.<\/p>\n
Through the unit \u201cLearning About My Body\u201d we explored our bodies and some of their most important organs. We talked about their functions and understood how important it is to take proper care of them. At the same time, through hands-on games, we discovered the benefits of healthy eating for our bodies and our lives. We discussed healthy and unhealthy foods, while also tasting fresh seasonal vegetables.<\/p>\n
Throughout the program, the children practiced proper hygiene and cleanliness of the body and teeth, learning basic rules through play and dramatization.<\/p>\n
In addition, we took part in STEAM activities and original experiments related to cleanliness and germs, and we even created our own \u201ctoothpaste for hippos,\u201d fostering a sense of responsibility and positive life attitudes in our young protagonists.<\/p>\n
The program concluded with presentations by the dentists, Ms. Anastasia Doupkari to the Juniors students and Ms. Christina Karanasiou to the Seniors and Seeds students. The children listened with great interest to the specialists\u2019 advice and, in the end, received their awards.<\/p>\n
