The program included awareness raising workshops focused on reducing food waste and promoting healthy and sustainable eating habits.<br \/>\nBoroume is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce food waste and increase food support across Greece.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Journey of Food\u201d is one of Boroume\u2019s school-based initiatives and is part of the \u201cNational Program for Exercise and Healthy Nutrition \u2013 Addressing Childhood Obesity\u201d of the Ministry of Health, implemented in collaboration with UNICEF.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-156954 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mandoulides.edu.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/To-Taxidi-tis-Trofis-01-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"373\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, 17 February, trainers from the organization Boroume (i.e. We Can) implemented the educational program \u201cThe Journey of Food\u201d at the facilities of the Mandoulides High School, with the participation of the Junior High School Environmental Team.
