On the occasion of\u00a0the\u00a0Panhellenic\u00a0School Day of Animal Welfare on April 4th, the 4th-grade students became the \u201cvoice\u201d of animals! As part of their Environmental Studies class and the program \u201cWe Talk\u00a0About\u00a0Ourselves,\u201d the children were divided into groups and took on the responsible role of ambassadors for endangered species in our country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through an interactive presentation, they studied animals at risk, such as the Egyptian vulture and the loggerhead sea turtle (<\/span>Caretta\u00a0caretta<\/span><\/i>). They created their own \u201canimal ID profiles\u201d and presented them to the class, suggesting ways to protect these species.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The activity concluded with a digital \u201cwall of love\u201d using the\u00a0Padlet\u00a0app, where students shared photos and stories about their own pets. Equipped with empathy and a sense of responsibility, the children\u00a0demonstrated\u00a0how important it is to protect every living being.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
