Sixteen students from our Middle and High School\u00a0participated\u00a0in this year\u2019s Yale Model United Nations Europe (YMUNE), which took place in Rome. YMUNE is an international academic conference that simulates the work of the United Nations, where participants take on the role of diplomats\u00a0representing\u00a0different countries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the conference, the students actively engaged in committee sessions, developed arguments, negotiated with fellow delegates, and drafted resolutions. Through this process, they enhanced key skills such as public speaking, collaboration, and critical thinking.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the educational trip, the students also had the opportunity to explore important landmarks of the city. They visited the iconic Colosseum, toured the Galleria Nazionale\u00a0d’Arte\u00a0Antica – Palazzo Barberini, and took part in a guided tour of the historic city center, including stops at famous sites such as the Trevi Fountain and other culturally significant monuments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This experience, combining academic engagement with cultural exploration, offered students a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers from around the world, broaden their perspectives, and immerse themselves in new cultures.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n \n<\/svg>picture gallery<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>
