The visit took place as part of the school\u2019s Career Guidance program, as well as its Social Responsibility initiatives, aiming to offer students meaningful exposure to the fields of healthcare and service. As part of a volunteer initiative, the students delivered a significant quantity of used eyeglasses, actively contributing to social solidarity efforts.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">During the visit, the president of the Orthodox External Mission Brotherhood, Mr. Ch.\u00a0Metallidis, informed the students about the organization\u2019s work, highlighting its contribution to supporting developing countries by providing eyeglasses to individuals without access to basic healthcare services. The students engaged actively, asking targeted questions and\u00a0participating\u00a0with interest in the discussion.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At the same time, they were given a tour of the clinic\u2019s facilities and were briefed on its operations. Divided into groups, they took part\u00a0in the process of sorting\u00a0and preparing\u00a0eyeglasses: they separated those suitable for use from the damaged ones, cleaned them, measured them using specialized optical equipment (a\u00a0lensmeter), and placed them\u00a0in protective cases for safe transport.
