Mavridis (11th Grade) received an honorary distinction at the 2026 Metropolitan College Student Research &amp; Innovation Symposium for his research and engineering project titled\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">InduNoise<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. For the same project, he was also\u00a0awarded at\u00a0the 12th ACSTAC Student Conference on Science &amp; Technology, receiving the Entrepreneurship Award.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">His project focuses on the development of the\u00a0InduNoise\u00a0application (indunoise.com), an intelligent acoustic signal<\/span>\u2011<span data-contrast=\"auto\">processing system primarily designed for industrial use, with\u00a0additional\u00a0potential applications in environmental monitoring and noise<\/span>\u2011<span data-contrast=\"auto\">pollution tracking in smart cities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The application is based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, and its most innovative feature is that it processes audio locally, without transmitting raw audio data or personal information to central systems\u00a0but\u00a0only the analysis results.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The project received highly positive evaluations for its research\u00a0questions,\u00a0methodology, interpretation of results, and overall presentation. Its alignment with sustainable development goals, as well as its professional structure and writing,\u00a0were\u00a0also highlighted.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At the same time, the student is an active member of the FTC\u00a0ThunderBolts\u00a0robotics team, which won 3rd place in the Inspire Award and secured qualification for the World Championship in Istanbul this summer.
