As part of the environmental education program “Our olive tree in the yard, how much it has to say…”, \u00a0the students of 3rd Grade visited the Higkas olive mill and had an unusual experience. They toured the factory and watched up close the olive processing steps. Then they visited the mill, where they saw the extraction process of olive oil from the olive fruit. They also tasted green olives and bread made with olive oil, and left the mill full of new experiences.<\/p>\n
