Hundreds of teachers from the city and the wider region of Thessaloniki participated in the 3rd \u201cSmart Education\u201d seminar, which was held by Mandoulides Schools<\/a> on Saturday, 9 November, 2019 on the Junior-Senior High School premises.<\/p>\n The Smart Education seminar, which focused on Gamification in Education and the integration of new technologies into the educational process, was part of our actions as one of the 3 schools in Greece selected by Microsoft as \u201cMicrosoft Showcase Schools\u201d, in recognition of the innovative actions and educational programs that have been implemented at the Schools over the years, with emphasis on the use of new technologies in both education and administration.<\/p>\n During the seminar, the attendees were informed by experts, university professors, representatives of innovative companies, researchers and teachers on Gamification in Education, the integration of new technologies into the educational process, the value of programming in our lives, robotics at school, Internet security and Microsoft tools.<\/p>\n The event was sponsored by Microsoft<\/a>, Eurobank<\/a>, Koumentakis and Associates<\/a>, Samaras & Associates<\/a> and Dotsoft<\/a>.
