{"id":17781,"date":"2020-03-10T14:39:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-10T12:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mandoulides2.edu.gr\/be-internet-awesome\/"},"modified":"2020-03-10T14:39:00","modified_gmt":"2020-03-10T12:39:00","slug":"be-internet-awesome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mandoulides.edu.gr\/en\/be-internet-awesome\/","title":{"rendered":"Be Internet Awesome"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Be Internet Awesome<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mandoulides.edu.gr\/en\/\">Mandoulides Schools<\/a> have been selected by Google and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csii.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSI Institute<\/a> to implement the pilot program \u201cBe Internet Awesome\u201d which regards secure Internet browsing.<\/p>\n<p>The teachers of 4th, 5th and 6th Grade were trained by the team of Mr. Manos Sfakianakis, retired Lieutenant General of the Hellenic Police, Cybercrime Analyst, with material that has been created by Google in collaboration with international organizations specializing in cyber security such as \u201ciKeepSafe\u201d, \u201cConnectSafely\u201d and \u201cFamily Online Safety Institute\u201d,\u00a0 and has already been successfully implemented in countries abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The program \u201cBe Internet Awesome\u201d teaches children the basic principles of digital security and digital citizenship so that they can explore the online world in a safe way.<\/p>\n<p>The five digital security and digital citizenship fundamentals of the \u201cBe Internet Awesome\u201d code are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Share with Care (Be Internet Smart)<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t Fall for Fake (Be Internet Alert)<\/li>\n<li>Secure Your Secrets (Be Internet Strong)<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s Cool to Be Kind (Be Internet Kind)<\/li>\n<li>When in Doubt, Talk it Out (Be Internet Brave)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be Internet Awesome Mandoulides Schools have been selected by Google and the CSI Institute to implement the pilot program \u201cBe Internet Awesome\u201d which regards secure Internet browsing.
